Dr Rishaav Laalje is the General Practitioner, Occupational Health Practitioner and Child Health Practitioner at Silverton Medical Centre. Dr Laalje matriculated in Durban and obtained his MBChB degree from the University of Limpopo (MEDUNSA) in 2013. Subsequent to his internship and community service he started private practice in 2017. He strives to provide patients with tailor made solutions to their health care needs. Thorough clinical assessment of patients coupled with the use of up to date evidence based medicine enables him to improve patient outcomes. Values such as compassion and empathy underline the treatment of patients under Dr Laalje’s care, he aims to forge long lasting relationships with all his patients.

Whilst in practice he developed a keen interest in occupational health medicine and pursued his diploma in Occupational Health at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. He is registered as an Occupational Health Physician with the HPCSA. He is also a member of the South African Society of Occupational Medicine. Furthermore Dr Laalje has a wholehearted interest in the health and well being of children. In order to provide treatment of highest quality to all children under his care he enrolled for and completed a Diploma in Child health through the College of Medicine South Africa. He is the primary medical doctor at Silverton medical center. He is supported by qualified personnel who have acquired adequate academic degrees, professional expertise and industrial experience in their various fields

Oasis swimmimg academy was founded in 2016 by the owner Tate-Amber Reid. Tate is a qualified SWIM SA instructor, specialising in children with special needs and water rehabilitation. The academy prides itself in employing swimming instructors who are qualified to teach all ages including all the specialties that we offer.

The academy has two branches, based in Musgrave and Glenwood, opened 6 days a week from 8am to 6pm - teaching lessons every 30 minutes. Swimming pools are heated and covered.

The academy is open throughout the year, affording students the opportunity to join at anytime. We enrol swimmers aged 6 months and up, adults and seniors. Lessons include teaching infants to swim, stroke corrections, ladies aqua, private lessons, and we offerer house calls.

At Oasis Swimming Academy we aim to see progress fast, we want babies/toddlers becoming water safe, we want children joining squad as well as adults reaching their swimming goals.

At Oasis Sports Academy our mission is to help children develop a healthy relationship with exercise whilst building their confidence and developing their life skills.

During each class at Oasis Sports Academy coaches/instructors will be improving your child's balance, fine and motor gross skills, fitness, muscular development, confidence and their co-ordination.

By using a wide range of different exercises every week Oasis Sports Academy will teach your child the importance of exercise and how fun it can be.

Doc's Brew is a speciality coffee shop situated at the Silverton Medical Centre. Doc's Brew can be seen as a space of tranquility whilst you visit the Medical Centre. We strive to provide patients and parents with a tranquil day-to-day coffee experience through our selection of beverages.
